Song Suffragettes - October

Song Suffragettes London is back for another afternoon of incredible female songwriters, bringing together four artists for an intimate writers’ round celebrating the stories, songs and women behind the music.

This month’s lineup features:

Hannah Jane Lewis – Bringing her country-pop sound and sharp songwriting to the round, Hannah has performed at C2C and supported artists including Rita Ora, Jess Glynne and Shawn Mendes. Her latest music marks an exciting new chapter in her country-inspired sound.

Beth Keeping – A brilliant storyteller and songwriter, Beth blends country songwriting with contemporary pop, writing honestly about love, life, self-worth and everything in between. She’s also the founder of Write Like A Girl, championing women in songwriting.

Neeve Zahra – Manchester-based singer-songwriter Neeve has quickly become one to watch in the UK country scene. With support from BBC Radio 2’s Bob Harris and two BCMA Award nominations, she brings a mix of honest storytelling, big vocals and beautifully crafted songs to the round.

Katie Nicoll – Hailing from Kirriemuir in Scotland, Katie is an acoustic-led pop singer-songwriter known for catchy melodies and relatable, honest lyrics. She’s played over 300 shows across Scotland and the UK, sold out headline shows in Dundee and Glasgow, and has been championed by BBC Introducing and BBC Scotland. In 2026, she was named Scottish Young Live Artist of the Year and shortlisted as a finalist for BBC Introducing Scottish Act of the Year.

If you’ve never been to a Song Suffragettes round before, expect something a little different from a traditional gig. Each songwriter takes a turn performing their songs and sharing the stories behind them, giving you the chance to hear the songs exactly as they were written and get to know the women behind the music.
